WRITE 'N' ROLL

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the power of storytelling. Whether it was reading books, writing, drawing characters, or filming random videos on whatever camera I could get my hands on, I was always creating. I didn’t just enjoy stories, I wanted to tell my own.

I grew up as a quiet kid who found my voice through writing, drawing, and making videos. As I got older, that passion evolved into something bigger. In high school, I studied media concepts, then went on to major in TV production in undergrad and filmmaking in grad school. Along the way, I gained experience working in production and marketing at one of my local news stations, and one of my proudest moments was having my documentary accepted into my local film festival.

When I’m not working, I do freelance video work, write screenplays,

and create YouTube videos. I love being behind the camera and bringing stories to life through writing & visuals.

I knew I wanted to document my journey as an aspiring screenwriter and filmmaker, share insights from my experiences, and share resources for others pursuing this creative path. I started working towards this passion project in 2020. Five years later, I've officially launched Write 'N' Roll. My hope is to inspire and connect with fellow storytellers, whether you’re just starting or already carving your own path in filmmaking.

One day, I hope to be a successful screenwriter and filmmaker, but for now, I’m embracing the journey.
